Children’s Rooms
Whether you are preparing for a new baby or creating an educational environment for your older child, designing children’s rooms can be challenging. We can help you design a calming and comforting environment for your newborn, as well as, a fun, functional, learning environment for your toddler or older children.
To assist in achieving designs appropriate for your child’s age group, as well as, environments that are conducive to learning, Courtney Cratty is a co-designer of our Children’s Rooms. Courtney has a Bachelors of Science degree from Tufts University, and a Masters Degree in Education from Lesley University. Courtney has worked with children for many years, and has a unique sense of creating rooms that capture children’s imaginations.
Baby’s Room
This service will assist you in the interior decorating process of your newborns first room. We will help you with whatever decorating concerns that you may have, which could include, color consultation, furniture selection and placement, window treatments, bedding, etc.
Baby’s Room…$95 per hour, 1 hour minimum (sub-contractor expenses will be in addition)
Educational Playrooms
Based upon the theory that children learn in a variety of different ways, playrooms are designed to stimulate these multiple intelligences. Learning centers, which encourage such things as reading, art, music, science, and physical fitness, are set up in the playroom. The playrooms are attractive, yet functional, and can grow with your developing child. We will work to incorporate as many of your existing elements as possible, but will likely require the purchase of some new toys and learning tools.
Educational Playrooms…$400 - $650 per room
